WHY AM I BEING CHARGED DUTIES ON DELIVERY IN THE USA?

Government-Imposed Import Charges (United States)
U.S. Government trade and customs authorities introduced significant changes to import duties and tariff rules on overseas shipments in April 2025. A baseline 10 % tariff on most imported goods, including goods originating in Australia, took effect from 5 April 2025. In addition, a longstanding duty-free exemption for low-value shipments (the “de minimis” threshold) was suspended on 29 August 2025, meaning goods of all values may now be subject to duties and taxes on import into the United States.

These tariff measures were enacted under U.S. trade and customs laws and are imposed by the U.S. Government, not by us. They are outside our control and are not included in the prices or shipping costs you pay on this website.

The customer is solely responsible for paying any applicable import duties, tariffs, taxes, customs fees, or clearance charges assessed by U.S. customs authorities. Such charges may be collected by the carrier or customs broker prior to or upon delivery.

We accept no responsibility for any delays, additional costs, returns, or consequences arising from these government-imposed duties or taxes. We recommend that customers review applicable U.S. import regulations before placing an order to understand potential additional costs.

WHAT IS A PRE-ORDER?

A pre-order is an order placed for an item that hasn't been released or is not physically in stock yet. A pre-order is shipped to you once available. Pre-orders allow for you to order products before they are available. We will always give shipping arrival estimates next to the garment images in the product description page.

Whether the product is out-of-stock or soon to be launched, pre-orders act as a kind of reservation that guarantees you access to it at its earliest possible availability.

HOW DO I PRE-ORDER?

To secure a pre-order, simply add the desired item to your shopping bag as you would for a regular website purchase. Proceed through the standard check-out process, making payment for the full amount, including shipping fees. Once the pre-ordered item becomes available, we'll promptly dispatch it to you. In case your order comprises a combination of pre-order and in-stock items, rest assured that we'll ship the pre-orders separately at no additional cost. Your order confirmation email will detail both in-stock and pre-order items. You can expect an email notification with the dispatch date and shipping tracking number as soon as the pre-ordered item is ready for shipment.
